Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Villa Morgana Resort is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, drawing on the best practices of the General Accessibility Improvement Framework (RGAA 4.1) and the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines.

This statement applies to the website hotelvillamorganacapvert.fr.

Conformity status

This website was designed following the criteria of the General Accessibility Improvement Framework (RGAA 4.1), targeting the WCAG 2.1 AA level. To date, no formal conformity audit has yet been carried out ; the official conformity status therefore cannot be declared. This statement will be updated as soon as an audit has been conducted.

Test results

No formal RGAA audit has been carried out yet. The site has nonetheless been developed with accessibility best practices built in: semantic structure, contrast, keyboard navigation, visible focus, text alternatives for images and support for prefers-reduced-motion.

Accessibility measures implemented

Structure and navigation

  • Semantic HTML5: appropriate use of the <header>, <main>, <nav>, <footer>, <article>, <section> tags
  • Consistent heading hierarchy (single H1 per page, structured H2-H6)
  • Breadcrumb on every inner page
  • « Skip to main content » link on every page
  • Functional keyboard navigation throughout the site
  • Logical and consistent tab order

Display and legibility

  • Minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for text (WCAG AA)
  • Minimum font size of 16px (1rem) for body text
  • Visible focus indicator on all interactive elements
  • Dark mode that respects system preferences (prefers-color-scheme)
  • Support for prefers-reduced-motion : automatic disabling of animations for users who want it
  • Responsive layout adapted to mobile, tablet and desktop devices
  • No orientation lock (portrait/landscape)

Forms

  • Labels associated with each input field (<label for="">)
  • Clear indication of required and optional fields
  • Real-time validation with contextual error messages
  • Error messages displayed next to the relevant field
  • Use of the aria-invalid, aria-describedby and role="alert" attributes
  • autocomplete and inputmode attributes to ease input

Images and media

  • Descriptive alt attribute on all informative images
  • Empty alt="" attribute on decorative images
  • aria-hidden="true" attribute on decorative SVG icons
  • Explicit dimensions (width, height) to avoid layout shifts

Built-in accessibility widget

An accessibility panel is always available via the button at the bottom left of the screen. It offers the following tools :

  • Larger text — text enlargement across 3 levels
  • Line height — increased line spacing across 3 levels
  • Text alignment — forced left alignment
  • Readable font — font suited to people with dyslexia
  • High contrast — reinforced visual contrast
  • Grayscale — monochrome display

  • Pause animations — stops all animations and transitions
  • Highlight links — highlights all links
  • Reading guide — reading guide that follows the cursor
